Plan where to go in Thailand, day by day.
Tell us when you're visiting, then build your trip stop by stop. Every region gets a seasonal where-to-go signal, so you can see what fits your dates.
When are you in Thailand?
How the trip planner works
You pick your dates, then add stops one at a time. Every region gets a verdict for your month: Great, Good, Mixed, AQI watch or Avoid. It starts from seasonal averages for temperature and rainfall, so it tells you what the month is usually like, not what the weather will do next Tuesday.
On top of the averages sits a short list of corrections I've added by hand, for the places where the numbers miss something. Chiang Mai in March is the clearest one. The rain and temperature look fine, but March is the peak of burning season: the air regularly hits hazardous levels and the mountains disappear in smoke. The planner rates it Avoid and suggests moving the northern leg to June or later. Koh Lanta gets a low-season note from May to October, because many ferries stop or cut back and some resorts close, even when the weather itself is manageable.
Once the route is in, your plan shows how long each leg takes and where to book the transport, a place to stay and things to do at every stop. If you'd rather not start from a blank page, there are 7 ready-made routes you can load and change, and the month-by-month weather pages go deeper on each region.
Common questions
Is the weather in the planner a forecast?
No. It uses seasonal averages for each region, which is the useful number when you're booking weeks or months ahead. Check a real forecast the week before you travel.
Which places can I add?
21 places, from Bangkok and Chiang Mai to Koh Lanta, Koh Tao and Koh Chang. You can also type in any other place. It goes into your plan, but without a weather verdict.
Do I need an account?
No, and it's free. Plans are saved on your device, so they won't follow you to another phone or laptop. To move one, send yourself the share link.
Which months are easiest for a Thailand trip?
November to February works for most of the country. The Gulf islands (Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Koh Tao) run on their own calendar: wet from October into early January, and dry through the middle of the year while the west coast has its monsoon. Set your dates and the planner shows which side fits.
